Transmetrics' civil engineers are now LEED Accredited Professionals

Campbell, CA - In the ongoing effort to improve and design environmentally sustainable projects, Transmetrics has encouraged its staff to become LEED Accredited Professionals. Transmetrics is proud to announce the certification of LEED accredited professionals at the project engineering, project management and senior management Vice President levels.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) was created by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as a rating system for green building.

LEED refers to the design, construction, and operation of buildings in an environmentally friendly way. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. Transmetrics supports sustainable engineering design for public transport and in overall civil design projects.
